We drew Inspiration from the original stock HD Shovelhead struts & we incorporated there classic style, but slimmed them down & dressed them up with a fulled TIG welded 1/2" sissy bar to make it a one piece bolt-on kit.
We have two similar but different versions, this is V.1 -
The Sissy bar is fixed & is one piece with the struts.
Simply raise or lower your fender to the desired height, drill out the marked holes & install. You can also shape your fender to you style to complete the package - the kit will come with eight fender mounting bolts with nut & washers.
These Fit swing arm Shovelhead frames with a 1965-85 FX model rear fender.
The Sissy bar will come plain at a height of 400mm off the top of the fender.
If you would like a KQ seat pan made to suit your bike we can do this with the bike present in the workshop.
PLEASE NOTE: the fender, number plate holder, bent tip or cross bars are not included in the STD listing.
The Deluxe kit will come as pictured:
- 550H
- Bent tip
- 2x cross bars
- Number plate & mount
We recommend using 11" shocks as seen in the photos to get the fender closer to the fender for an optimal look.
If you choose not to use the stock frame hole, you can get the fender lower by 40mm as seen on the black FX Shovelhead (Fender holes will need to be patched up)
Final look may vary depending on how you mount along with the length of shocks used.
These are a "Made to Order" item, no stock on hand. Slight changes can be made for a small cost.

All products are made to order & a small 5-10 working day lead time is required on some items & may be longer at some times during the year.
Production times are subject to change based upon our current volume of orders, priority is by date ordered.
-Chrome (including pre-polishing) turnaround time can take 3-4 weeks.
-Powder coating turnaround time can be 1-2 weeks.
Although all care & caution is taken when producing one off items there may be some slight imperfections, this due to the fact that these are made by hand and not mass produced using internal & external sources.
